We all put time and effort into our image – whether it’s our physical appearance, what we say or, more commonly, what we post online. We carefully choose what’s available online for the world to see, and choose which content doesn’t make the cut. But what about when you’re representing someone else? When you assume the responsibility of putting information and images out there about a person or a community you don’t belong to, how do you balance the power you are inevitably holding? The story you tell and images you share may hold greater weight than you imagine.
